City College of San Francisco - General Information


City College of San Francisco (CCSF) is the official two-year community college of the City and County of San Francisco
.

The Ocean Avenue campus, the main campus, is only one of many. The college's other locations include Airport, Alemany, Castro - Valencia, Chinatown - North Beach, Downtown, Evans, Fort Mason, John Adams, Mission, and Southeast campuses.

City College of San Francisco, with an annual enrollment of more than 100,000 students, is one of the largest community colleges in the United States.
In 1989 City College of San Francisco established the first gay, lesbian, and bisexual studies department in the United States and it established one of the first Women's Studies programs in the country.

One of the world's most celebrated murals, Pan American Unity, painted in 1940 by
